Speculative Art

“Working on and against [the dominant ideology] is a strategy that tries to transform a cultural logic from within, always laboring to enact permanent structural change while at the same time valuing the importance of local or everyday struggles of resistance.” — Munoz, Disidentification

It is easy to lose hope as we wake up to disappointment and uncertainty the morning after the election. This article by Nneka Sobers reminded of me of how important it is, especially now, to hold on to our dreams, hope and imagination. Thank you to Karen Erlichman for bringing it to my attention.
